What's new?

Hi everyone -
Well - no fun pictures to post this time...our camera is on the fritz! We have a new one as of today and just have to get the software loaded on our computer to get some new pics posted of Grant.
What is Grant up to? Well...he continues to chew on his hand(s) constantly...I wonder if those teeth are starting to come in. He talks to us more and more and smiles quite a bit too - it's a lot of fun. School is going pretty well. We have the sleep thing down now - every once in a while they have to wake him up, but he hasn't slept more than 3 hrs lately. One of his teachers told Brian that all the teachers at the center (not just his classroom) like to see Grant and think he is just the cutest thing b/c he's so little ;)

What have I been up to?

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I've been busy lately! You know - I go to school now every day. It is a lot of fun, but is taking some getting used to. I like to sleep for a long time while I am there and sometimes I don't eat as much as I'm supposed to...but we're working through it. Another new little girl joined our class last week - so we're the newbies... My teacher is really nice. The one who works with me (and the rest of the little - non-mobile ones) is pretty young but seems to love us ;) I like to give her a hard time...I'm making her work for her money! Sometimes I won't eat for her and sometimes I cry for 30mins until she has tried everything to make me happy....then I fall asleep. HE HE! Today I was easy on her though. I have to be a good boy tomorrow...mommy and daddy have to have parent teacher conferences with my lead teacher when they pick me up tomorrow. After that we go to get my 3 month pictures taken. Hopefully it will be a good day and I will have lots to smile about.
I'm getting bigger. I like to eat my fists - today I tried fitting both of them in my mouth, but that didn't work. Mommy keeps shoving other things in my mouth instead - like links and teething rings - but my fists seems so much easier.
I've slept through the night twice now, but typically still get up to eat once throughout the night. Sometimes it's 2:30 and other times it is 4:30.
I hope you are all doing well and can't wait to hear back from you. I love you and miss you!

3 Months Old Today

Today Grant is 3 months old. We can't believe how fast this time has gone and how much he has changed. This little boy has blessed our lives tremendously. He is now cooing (most often on his changing table), smiling, kicking, he loves playing with his hands & folding them together, helping to hold his bottle and loves bath time.
Here are two comparable pictures - the first is from the hospital and the second was taken today - quite a difference! Born at 5lbs 14oz - Grant is now probably 13lbs or so - WOW! He hasn't been officially weighed (not until he is 4mos) - but based on our scale and my best guesses.
















This past weekend we celebrated my nephew Brayden's 4th birthday. Below is a picture of Brayden pulling Grant in a wagon behind the tractor he got for his birthday.
