My First Hair Cut and HAPPY EASTER!
Hello Everyone!!!! How was your weekend? What an exciting one - huh? My first Easter! It was a lot of fun. I got to stay home from school with mommy on Friday - but it snowed all day long. Then on Sat and Sun I got to see all of my family - they ate lots of food, we celebrated Papa Meidam's birthday, we went to church on Sunday and celebrated what Easter is really all about, I got to find 3 easter baskets and a few eggs AND Aunt Sheila gave me my very FIRST HAIRCUT!!! It was really hard for mommy to admit that I needed my hair cut - but it was starting to be longer than my ear when they tucked it behind - crazy!!! So on Sunday afternoon, Aunt Sheila cut my hair - just the sides and my bangs a little bit - but I had my FIRST Haircut at 20 weeks old! Mommy saved it for my baby book :) Back to school this week. I love you all!

Happy St Patty's Day!
Happy St Patty's Day to you all. Are you wearing green today? I did - a new outfit I just got yesterday from my friend Ellison and her mommy & daddy. How do you think they gave such a perfectly timed gift?
What have you been up to? I'm doing so many things these days. Screetching like crazy - really high pitched - it's like I'm talking to all the puppies in the neighborhood :) I'm such a busy little boy who needs my rest - so I've started going to be earlier at night now - between 7 and 8 instead of 9 or 10. I still do pretty good and only wake up one time. Sometimes as early as 2 and other times not until 5:30. Mommy & Daddy are pretty pleased with me. I also no longer sleep all swaddled up in my swaddle blanket. I started fighting to get my hands out and gave mommy & daddy a run for their money when they tried to wrap me up at night - so they let me try just sleeping my my sleep sack. It worked just fine - I still only wake up one time.
I'm still not rolling over - but I've decided I like to work on my sitting a little bit better. I think maybe I will do that first - then go back to rolling. Mommy also put my exersaucer together for me last week. I didn't like it very much last week, but tonight I sat in it for about 5 mins before getting sick of it.
So - today is St Patrick's Day and this coming weekend is Easter? What is this I hear about a bunny bringing eggs? I know I'm just a little boy - but something about bunny's bringing eggs - just doesn't seem quite right :)

Spinning in the Night
Last night Grant slept from before 8:00 until almost 5 this morning...WOW! I had to leave at 5:00 to catch a flight for work and he woke up right before I left. I can't say I was sad I got to say good-bye to a smiling little boy :) It was a different sight when I peaked on him this morning though. We put Grant in his crib with his head on the door side of his crib. When I looked in this morning his head was on the window side of his room. He somehow completely spun himself around. Keep in mind he still sleeps all swaddled up - so he must have really been kicking with those little legs :)

I picked Grant up from school early today so he could see Papa and Grandma Meidam on their way home from Florida. So after they left, he helped me with some of my work :) He has this computer thing mastered...not to mention his sitting skills :)

My 4 Month Dr Appt
Hello everyone -
I had my dr appt today. I'm getting bigger! I am 13lbs and 5oz. This puts me in the 25th percentile for weight. I'm 24 inches long - which is also 25th percentile. So the dr is happy with my growth. She said I should start sleeping more at night pretty soon. I guess I've already started doing that once in a while. I will be going to bed earlier from now on and hopefully still sleeping almost until morning. I'm not going to start cereal yet. My dr said I should wait another 4 to 6 weeks if it doesn't seem like I need it. I don't think I do - I'm happy with my 4oz bottles every 2-3 hrs. They fill me up! I showed her how I hold myself up when I'm on my tummy, talked to her and even proved I could do something already that we are supposed to start working on...sitting. I'm not all that good at it, but I can do what she was describing as my starting point (the tripod). So she said all these good things and then the nurse came back and gave me shots...ouch! They hurt and I cried. I cried pretty hard, but after the nurse left and mommy & daddy gave me my bottle - I calmed down right away. Tonight they bothered me a little bit - I've been pretty good. Hopefully I will be able to sleep well.

4 Months Old Today!
Hello everyone - I'm 4 monthsold today! Can you believe it! My mommy can't! I'm getting big! My dr appt is tomorrow and we get to see how big I really am. I'm still "talking" in my little high-pitched voice...and every once in a while I try to sit up. No rolling over yet though...I think I will take my time with that one. I've still been waking up at night too - but I try to hold off until 3:30 or 4:00. School has been going well...no art projects lately or anything...just the norm.

What's New!
Hi Everyone -
Well - what's new...Last week I was gone Sunday through Thursday at my national sales meeting. Brian and Grant survived quite well without me :) Grandma Meidam and Grandma Kok each came and stayed over one night to help - but I think they would have been ok on their own if they would have needed to.
Grant is such a good little boy! There are many times when I almost can't believe he is even her and ours to keep!
We went up north this weekend with the Shea family. Grant really started doing a few things this weekend. While reclined in his bouncy seat or swing - he tries now to sit up more upright. He does this same thing when he is in our arms eating. It's pretty funny - I think he's working on his 6 pack :) As you know - Grant has loved sucking on his fists...often trying to stick both in his mouth at the same time... WELL now he found his thumb. I was so hoping that would not happen - but I guess it was just a matter of time. I was hoping we could just stick with his nuk - but it's not looking that way. The other thing he discovered this weekend - his voice! This really just started more tonight. He has a little high pitched screetch that he talks to you with now - so cute! We have a really short video - we'll try to post it soon :)
