Dancing

Playing in the snow

It SNOWED again!!!

Happy Birthday Daddy

Happy Birthday to the BEST Daddy in the whole - wide - world! Daddy's birthday is on the same day as Great Grandpa Meidam's birthday. They always celebrate together and this year we celebrated in Milwaukee. Papa and Grandma Meidam brought Great Grandpa and Grandma down to visit for the day! We had a busy one! It was lots of fun!
First we went to the Milwaukee Domes! Great Grandpa really loves gardening and all the different flowers - so they seemed to like the domes quite a bit. We (Alayna and Grant) were bummed the train exhibit didn't start until the day AFTER we were there! We saw Thomas the Train all ready for the big day.
Landon had fun too!
I even did my hair like a dinosaur for the special occasion!
Papa holding Alayna up to see the bananas in the tree. Do you see them? Way up at the top - a bunch of green ones!
4 Generations of Meidam Men...the only Meidam men in this family! Nearly all of them (except Landon - sorry buddy) share the name Arthur somewhere throughout their name.
After the Domes we went to Fridays at Miller Park for lunch! It sure was tasty. Neither Great Grandpa and Grandma OR Papa and Grandma had ever been here before - so this was pretty neat
And for Daddy's birthday treat...we made him a big birthday cookie!
Say Cheese Daddy!

Mirror

Who is this cute kid in the mirror?
He's so handsome! :)

It SNOWED!

It snowed...and I am having fun!
First Mommy took me sledding in the back yard. We did figure 8s. She kept telling me how tired she was! Then we got the buckets and block makers out and made a few snow castles.

I do like the snow! :)

Reading and Reindeer

Grant is such a great big brother...he really enjoys reading to me. Today it was the ABC's.
Alayna shared her reindeer with me since mine is packed away to move to the new house. I really liked it!

PAINT and Awesome Weather

Can you believe this weather? It's been so nice out the last couple days (upper 40s & 50s). Unfortunately our outside play stuff (swings, slides, etc) have already moved to the new house - who would've thought would would need them in January! Oh well! Today after MOPS, Mommy took us over to the new house. We played on our swings (our big thing now is spinning/twisting) and she checked out the paint colors.
There is FINALLY paint on the walls. Hooray!!! I've been excited about this stage for a couple reasons. One - I picked out the colors - so I've been really curious to see if I like them in the BIG scheme of things. (g00d news - I do) Two - I feel like painting is getting us really close to moving in :) I can't wait! The pics below do not give you a great idea of the real and true color - but it's no longer white!
Green in the family room
Main level is mostly a mix of a tan and a tan that is 2 shades darker than the first
Kitchen - tan
Master Bedroom - blue
Alayna's room - bright blue
Landon's room - chocolate brown on the bottom, tan on top (Brian's favorite)

Snow

It SNOWED!!!!
After dinner, Daddy took us outside to play in it! Check out this FANTASTIC sled Alayna got for Christmas!
I stayed in the house with Mom and smiled for pictures in my Brewer t-shirt. I think I did pretty good :)

Socks

Socks! They aren't just for feet anymore!
Grant has had some pretty dry hands lately, so before bed some nights we put a bunch of lotion on and cover the lotion with socks so it soaks in really good! It's funny - he leaves them like this while he falls asleep - I think they stay on all night!
Alayna on the other hand...she needs to have them on because Grant does, but I have a feeling hers come off after about 30 seconds :)

Rolling....again

WOW - this little man is just not slowing down. 1.6.12 - Landon ROLLS back to front. He was laying on a blanket on the kitchen floor of all places and we got it on video! WhooHoo! Nice work little man!

I also was doing some work at the church nursery today and put him in an excersaucer for the first time. He seemed to like it. Ours isn't coming out until we get into the new house - but he should enjoy it!

4 Month Dr Appt

My 4 month Dr Appt went great today! I'm doing well. 14lbs 3oz (which means Mommy was slightly off with her 3 mo weight guess last month) which is the 45th percentile and I'm 25 inches (however accurate that really is) which is the 50th percentile. I'm holding my percentile pretty steady each visit.
I told the doctor I can roll front to back, sleep from 8ish til b/w 2 and 4 on a consistent basis, eat pretty well, poop normal, take my vitamin D and overall am still a pretty happy baby...except when I get those goofy air bubbles that are so hard to get out. I also laugh, can follow an object around a room and suck on my hands (A lot I might add! I'm really good at this one. Sometimes I even find my thumb...Mommy doesn't like that though)
She told me in the next 2 months I will be learning to sit (that sounds super fun), roll over (apparently there is a part 2 to rolling that I have yet to discover) and will learn to push up on my hands when on my belly. That is some exciting stuff. She also told Mommy I could start going in an excersaucer or jumperoo as long as my tiptoes touch while I'm in there. Those things sound super fun, but Mommy said we have to move to our new house before more baby equipment can come out.
After telling me how good I was doing and the excitement to look forward to they felt the need to end on a terrible note...more shots! OUCH! I had one medicine I had to drink (which was a piece of cake) but those shots - those were terrible. Mommy tried to feed me after to settle me down, but I was not interested. I just decided to take a nap instead.
Overall it was a good appointment - I just wish I didn't need to have those shots!

Cute As Can Be

Momma loves these hats. She says - boys don't have as many cute things as girls so she's gotta use hats when she can! Thankfully she thought the same way with Grant and I will have a lot to borrow from him :) This one was one of my own though because Grant was sooo little at this time of year when he was born - my melon would never fit in those hats now.
