These next two pictures are just to show you my hair may be starting to curl after all (just like my Daddy). I don't think Grandma believed my hair would ever be curly...maybe it's the weather...but maybe it's the beginning of a little bit of curl.

See - right at the bottom in the back. That area curls all the time now - it's not just messy :) Here's another angle...you can see it a little.

Hello Again...

Hello everyone! What have I been up to lately? Well - last weekend was Aunt Sheila and Uncle Ryan's wedding reception. That was fun! Below is a picture of me with Aunt Sheila. I got to stay for a while, but when the loud music started and all the dancing began - it was time for me to go with Grandpa and Grandma Meidam so I could go to sleep.

What else? Well - about two weeks ago I started pulling up on things. I would go up to my knees and do what I could from there. Last weekend I learned how to pull up all the way to my feet. That's more fun because then I am tall enough to play with the toys I pull up on :) I'm not officially "cruising" yet - but that will probably be next. Still no teeth!

Mommy, Daddy and I stayed home this weekend. We've been on the go a lot lately - so it's nice to be home.

12 weeks

Baby #3 is 12 weeks along today. We had a dr appt this morning and all is looking good. It was a very short appt - check to make sure I'm growing and listen for the heartbeat - which we got to hear for the first time today. It was like music to my ears :)

I feel like I'm growing quite fast with this one - things are already not fitting. Not yet into maternity, but already weeding things out piece by piece. I guess - that is what three babies in just over 2 years will do to me :) Oh well - they're worth it - eventually those abs will just get right back into their original shape right? HA!

Next update in 4 more weeks. Time seems to be going fast. Part of me feels like Feb is so far away, but a bigger part feels like it will be here before I know it. Lots to do before then!

Little Me

Hi Everyone! I had my 9 month dr appt today. I did really good. The dr just got back from vacation and was very behind on her appts, but I was patient and waited like a good little boy (daddy wasn't as good as me though).

Anyway - we found out that I am growing, but am still a peanut. I've grown in length percentage. At 6 mos I was at 25th percentile, but today I am at about the 40th - coming in at 27 3/4 inches. For weight though - I'm still on the small side. I'm 18 lbs 4 oz - which puts me still at the 15th percentile. We're all ok with that though. I eat well and have stayed at the 15th percentile consistently - so that's all mommy & daddy ask.

Other than that - everything checked out pretty good. Still no teeth and that will probably be a little while.
I think my cold is almost gone. Still hanging arounda little.

Alto Fair

Last week Mommy and Daddy took off of work a couple days and took me to the Alto Fair. For those of you not familiar with this Fair - it is the best Fair out there :) It is a 2-day fair, held in the middle of the week and you can walk from one end to the other in about 4 minutes. Mommy grew up going both days all day long. Daddy went when he was little too - but not as much as Mommy - so Mommy tends to have a bit more fun even now :) They saw a lot of old friends from high school - caught up on everyone's lives and even got to meet a few of their new family additions. Anyway...here are a few pics of me...

9 months old

Grant is 9 months old today. So far we have posted a pic from every month that was taken on the 4th of that month. It's crazy how much he changes in a month's time.

Oh How Much Grant's Learning

Over the last two weeks it is amazing what our little man is learning. He was a sitting star before and rocked on all 4s. Well, now he is a great crawler and goes from crawling to sitting on his own. He started crawling early last week - maybe Tues night - but since has continued to practice and is now quite good. Not yet fast - which is ok with me - but is doing really well.

He's also started waving. It's so cute - his little fingers curl over. To be honest he probably doesn't really know he's waving - but to mommy - it's a wave!

Wednesday night some friends of ours from IA stopped by on their way through Milwaukee. It was so great to see them again. They have a little guy too and it was the first time we met him. We attempted to get a picture of the two boys together - but we waited til the end of the night - not a smart move :) SOOOO...the mommies got to be in the picure too.

THEN...Thursday night we did two new things:

1. Took a bath in the"big boy" bath tub.

2. He wasn't quite ready to fall asleep at bedtime - so he worked and worked - and learned how to pull himself up in his crib. Saturday we went to the Milwaukee Zoo with my family and had a BBQ for dinner. Grant got a new pool last week and had some fun in it with his cousin Brayden.
