Our Little Princess

She really is starting to kick her little (check out those rolls) legs a lot more. She loves her mobile!

Listen to this little peanut! The first time your baby finds their thumb - you think it's so cute. However when it becomes something that is done now several times a day - not good! I would much rather she take a nuk. She will finally keep it in her mouth for a few minutes, but once it falls out - she's back to her thumb. Well - what do I do? :)

This is from Gandma Mary Tenpas...having had two thumbsuckers out of two kids, my advise is don't worry about it. One was done by about 4yrs old. The other could be caught sleeping with her thumb in her mouth as late as her early teens. She has the straightest teeth and never needed braces. The one advantage to a thumb is that it is always there. It never gets lost under the bed at 3AM or is left in the nursery by mistake. She will always be a princess whether she sucks her thumb or not.

Of course, my mom would comment on that! By the way, I wasn't the one who sucked my thumb into the teens. :) Just think of it this way, at least she found something that keeps her quiet/happy. She's beautiful and darling with that little thumb in her mouth!
