Saturday, May 7 we celebrated a JOYOUS occasion with our friend Kara. She is now CANCER FREE! A crazy journey that started last June - finding out she had lymphoma while 33 weeks pregnant, starting chemo at 35 weeks, being induced at 36 weeks, having her second chemo treatment at 37 weeks, and the list goes on! Chemo and then radiation - all while having a newborn PLUS a 2 yr old PLUS a 4.5 yr old.
The strength and trust in God Kara showed us all through her journey was amazing. We hope that we were all helpful to her through the tough times, but also want her to know - we saw God working through you through this whole thing. And we thank him for you!
