Well - time sure flies! Grant is another month older - 13 months as of yesterday! What is he up to at 13 mos? Well - his first tooth is about half way down now and the second has started to come in. The second one is his upper middle tooth and the first one was the one to the side of it. I think I might see some white where the second middle tooth would come in - so maybe...just maybe we are on tooth #3 - but that is yet to be confirmed :)

He's eating more these days - has really come around to liking vegetables (thankfully) - but I've found he likes frozen veggies better than canned. Whatever - as long as he eats them! His favorite is still mandarin oranges and he loves grilled cheese.

He's not walking yet - but set a record this week with 7 steps (yes - some were really tiny, but he stayed up and was moving forward - so they counted.) We're trying to transition over to the sippy cup and pretty much have changed over to using that all day. Now we are just using a bottle when he wakes up and before bed. It's progress...

Tonight Grant and I had a "date night". Brian had a work meeting - so I picked Grant up from school and we headed out for dinner at McDonald's. It was our first trip where he actually ate McDonald's food. We ordered his first Happy Meal - which I now realize was not really needed. I think he ate the equivalent of 1 whole chicken nugget and about 7 french fries...along with some peaches brought from home. Oh well - we had a good time. Then we went to Kohls - which wasn't as fun for him - but we made it through.

I'm 28 weeks along today. We had a dr's appt today and all looked/sounded good. Heart beat is about 140 beats/min and I measured about 26 weeks. That seemed strange b/c at my ultra sound on Monday - the baby shows about the 50th percentile - so I thought I would measure right at 28 wks - but as long as I'm within 3 - I am ok.
We hope you all have a great weekend!
