WOW! How did this happen? The whole school year is done! Alayna had a great time at Bright Beginnings this year! She LOVED school, her teacher(s), the days she was lucky enough to stay for lunch bunch and everything she learned when she was there!
"LAST DAY"
We were invited for a little program and picnic to end the year. Here is half of her class.
AND the second half of the class. Aren't they all cute? Alayna had a pretty young class this year. Many just celebrated birthdays or have summer birthdays.
This is Alayna's teacher - Mrs. Behling. She was WONDERFUL! Grant had her last year and now Alayna. She's been teaching here for a number of years, but this year has decided not to return. She is currently needed at home. She has 5 kids - 3 of which will be in high school next year. One of them is in their senior year and getting ready to head off to college. She just said - she feels she needs to enjoy these last years with her family all at home and can't believe how fast it has gone by. (Makes me think I will be heading to visit college campuses before I know it!) Anyway - we couldn't be happier for her and wish her and her family nothing but the best! The above picture was presented to her at the end of the little program the kids did. One of the moms at the school painted this picture - a tree with MANY leaves. The name of each child Mrs Behling taught while teaching Bright Beginnings is named on this tree! What an amazing idea and gift! She was very thankful.
The kids in class had also made gifts for the Mom's and Dad's. Daddy got a car wash bucket! They can't wait to help wash the cars!
I got this amazing towel with a flower painting on it made from Alayna's hand and finger prints.

AND for dessert the kids were offered popsicles! WOW - Landon is so lucky! This was his first Popsicle He LOVED it. He actually sat on that little yellow chair for 10 mins eating it all. He'd smack his lips as he licked - it was pretty cute :)
