We spent over a week in Tomahawk again this summer for a little R&R. It was a lot of fun! The weather was great! The first full day we were there it was rainy and overcast - so we took advantage of it and Mommy and Daddy took us to see our first movie in the theatre! We saw Cars 2. It didn't go quite as well as Mommy thought it would. Half way through the movie I (Grant) was asking if we could be done and do something else. She was in shock b/c at home I could sit in my little chair and watch TV for hours if everyone would let me. In the end though - they figured it out - I was just more interested in the video arcade room than watching the movie. After the movie was done we played air hockey :) Alayna got a bit bored at the end and kept saying she had to go potty.
Then we did a little 4-Wheeling!
The next day we took the boat over to sand mountain...Alayna got a bit tired...
The boat ride over was a bit on the chilly side, but once we were in the sun a while it warmed up. Mommy and Daddy weren't too crazy about the water temp, but we liked it just fine!

THEN...some friends came to visit us and do some relaxin'. We showed them what 4-wheelin' was all about...
We took them to Sand Mountain too...and tried to bury Mr Dale in the sand
Then we went for ice cream...Alayna's favorite - Blue Moon
Taylor, Alayna (6 mos apart), Grant and Grant (also 6 mos apart). We sure were glad it worked out for them to come up this year. It was a lot of fun!
We fished a little. Personally - I liked playing with the worms!
Daddy thought the 4-wheelers needed a bath. So, we tried to help get them clean!
On the weekend Grandma and Papa and the Shea's came. It was the 4th of July! We went for ice cream again! This time we tried slushies! YUM!!!

Alayna's favorite thing to do...get "dipped" in the lake. Mommy could just barely do this with her belly getting so big.

I am a FISH in the water at the lake. I jump right in off the pier with my life jacket on, pop right up and then swim to the steps to do it all over again. Owen helped me a lot. I watched what he did and then he hung out in the water sometimes just to make sure I was comfortable with where I was. Here I am swimming with Gram.

It was a lot of fun and we are so glad Grandma and Papa let us stay for so long. We hope we can keep doing that every summer! Lots and lots of fun memories are made every year!
