Cake Pops!

Alayna's EXCITED! She's gonna have cake pops at her birthday party and we're making a trial run! Hopefully these are "easy"! Cake pops for a Tinker Bell birthday party with family this weekend (2/11) - should be fun. Lots to do!

We just might have a little batter clean up to do before putting the top on the pan.

Funny story about the cake pop pans. They are just like little muffin pans, but for cake pops. There is a bottom and a top with a hole in the top the batter bakes out of. Anyway - I needed to get these pans and found they were sold at the "As Seen on TV" store at the mall. When I was at the mall I completely forgot to pick them up so I asked Brian to run there and get them after he and Grant go their hair cut one night. Well - Alayna was with them as they got their hair cuts and she could not wait to get her cake pop pans. She went into the store and asks Brian..."Daddy, where are the cake pops?" Brian tells her he doesn't know and she should ask the worker at the store (who was behind the counter). So she walks up and asks "where are the cake pops?" The girl at the store says - they are right behind you. She turns around, takes the box off the shelf and gets them up to the register. So - Brian pays and the bag is given to Alayna. She takes the bag (which looks a little heavy for her) and carries it through the entire mall all the way to Brian's truck in the parking lot. He offered to carry it for her and she told him no. What a crazy girl!
