Up North - Part 1 - Water Fun

Last week we spent a week "up north" at Grandma and Papa's lake house. It was a lot of fun! We had pretty good weather. It did rain on some days, but usually if it rained in the morning the afternoon was good and vice verse. So....all-in-all it was a good week that way. t

The water level has been rising. That's great for boating and jet ski riding, but that means Grandma and Papa's sand beach is gone :( So - we headed to Sand Mountain :) We went there a lot - it was a lot of fun!

This is SAND MOUNTAIN. I would go up about half way and run down myself, but if Mommy or Daddy went with me - I would do the whole thing!

I'm not big enough to do it myself yet, but I would surely not be left out of the fun. I would start the climb up myself...

Sometimes I tried to get Grant to hold my hand up the mountain though - that was some hike! He didn't like to hold my hand though if it was "dirty" (because of the sand) - for REAL!
