June 8 I had my 28wk check with Dr Linn. The baby's heartbeat was in the 150s according to the doppler. To him - he says is sounds like a girl. But when I told him that would mean this is the first time (1 of 4) that my "gut feeling" would be wrong he said that "mother's intuition" is usually more accurate than his guess :) We'll see I guess - he's delivered a lot more baby's than I have :)
When measuring my belly at home (I do this every 4 weeks) I'm about 1 inch bigger than I was with Alayna at 28 weeks. I'm not surprised - 4th baby - but it's interesting to keep track.
Did the glucose test today as well and all came back normal - whew!

28 weeks - a big milestone week for us in our pregnancies. I'm not sure if "milestone" is really the right word, but it's all I've got right now. Briana was stillborn at 28.5 weeks. She was 2lbs 2oz when she was born and looked just perfect. I remember it all like it was just yesterday and yet she would be 4.5 already if she were with us on this earth. I like to think I'm "fine" with this pregnancy. Since losing Briana I've had 2 very healthy and successful pregnancies that have given us a healthy, happy son and daughter - these things all make me feel 90% better about everything. But then there's that crazy 10% that makes me feel like I'm a crazy person once in a while. Like I said - I like to think I'm "fine", but when I admit it - I'm a lot more tense and "short" when it comes to dr appt days and right around this time period I am as well. In the past - weeks after 28 have been a bit better. Not sure why - as I've been made aware of so many things that could yet happen much later than 28 weeks, but I'm hoping the same will follow this time.
Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. We can't wait to meet this newest member of our family.
