Vacation

We are back! We spent last week on our family vacation in "the north". We had a lot of fun. Thanks to Grandma and Papa Meidam for letting us stay at their house in the north. We had fun as a family even though the weather wasn't the hot and sunny weather we had requested.

Let's see - what did we do?

Well - Grandma and Grandpa Kok came up for about a day and a half. We took a boat ride and stopped at Sand Mountain to play. We went for ice cream that night too. YUM! Thank you for coming - it was lots of fun!

I tried my first s'more. They made it sound like this great thing...I didn't like it too much!

Tuesday wasn't very warm so we went to a park to play after eating at Dogs and Suds for dinner.

I tried to push Alayna, but the swing was a little too high

This is my first time on a tire swing - I loved it!

Then on Wed we headed to a petting zoo. There were a lot of animals at the zoo - tigers, leopards, bears (we couldn't be these though). We could however pet the goats, potbelly pigs, bunnies, skunks and turtules. This was a lot of fun....I had a ton of fun!

On Thursday it was nicer again, so we took the boat out again. We went to play at Sand Mountain for much of the morning. We packed a picnic lunch. It was nice because I got to play for a long time, then we ate and headed back for nap time.

Alayna had fun too!
