Mommy FINALLY admitted we were not going to be in our new house before Christmas - so she set up the Christmas tree here. Whew! We had to move the play kitchen out of the living room and into the dining room and neither the star nor the ribbon made it on the tree this year, but it's up and the ornaments are on! (Dec 11&12)
We were very excited to help with the ornaments and have several of our own so we wanted to put those on. Some are breakable - actually many are - so we had to be very careful. Well - of course there are bound to be accidents - I dropped my purse ornament I got last year for Christmas and it shattered. I got a purse last year, but I used to carry around as many purses and bags as I could find all at one time! When my ornament broke, I was pretty sad. I guess I just didn't have it looped on the branch good enough.
Shattered into so many little pieces :(
Sooooo SAD! :(
Mommy said we could look for another one this year - but who knows if we'll be able to find one.

Grant putting on his ornament he received from Little Lambs last year
Me putting on one of Mommy's from when she was little. Turns out Mommy and Daddy have a lot more from when they were little that are better for us to put on. I think Mommy is going to try to change her shopping strategy for ornaments for us - "unbreakable" instead of "pretty". :)
