Grant LOVES the PBS show Wild Kratts. He can't wait until 4:00 everyday and doesn't quite understand why PBS would choose not to air the best show ever on Saturdays and Sundays. For those unfamiliar with the show - it is an animated show of the Kratt brothers exploring with animals. They are usually trying to help an animal in some way. The show really does teach a lot about different animals - where they live, what they eat, etc.
Anyway - Grant has come to LOVE this show! I don't mind it b/c timing is perfect for starting to get things picked up and ready for dinner. You can tell as soon as the show ends. He heads to the kitchen..."Mom....you wanna play ____" (whatever animal was on the show that day). Lion and the leopard are the animals that stick the most. This is played daily (typically more than once) at our house.
I realized today we have 2 lion costumes...so why not make this lion game a little more fun! So - here are our lions. Grant's worn the costume for a couple days now - out to pick up the babysitter, to Grandma's house, etc. He loves it. I'm sure it's just a phase :)
