House update

We originally thought we were going to move Dec 10th, but turns out we just hoped we could move by then because at the time our current house had a buyer who wanted it by the 15th. Well - that deal ended up falling through (buyer bailed) which was unfortunate, but not all bad because it's giving us more time to get everything the way we want it BEFORE we move in.

Originally it didn't seem like the work should be taking this long, but as it turns out - all the work we are having done is "finishing" work - which takes forever (especially if you want it done right and to look great). The guys working on it are doing a great job - so I've decided I just need to be patient (easier said than done).

Anyway - I've finally admitted it was time to set up the Christmas tree at the old house on the 11th :) and am accepting that we won't move until after the New Year. I'm trying to be patient, but tired of living in limbo. Should I pack more or not - because now I'm starting to have to unpack things I packed a month ago.

Where are we at? The re-texturizing is done, hardwood floor is in, and the new trim is being installed. Hooray!
